387-mile Depth of Cover Survey and Right of Way Assessment Project

Oklahoma

For this time sensitive 387-mile project in Texas, Kansas and Oklahoma, SAM was tasked to perform right-of-way assessment activities in support of the client’s FERC System. SAM performed Depth of Cover surveys; identified intentional and unintentional exposures and noted physical damage, external corrosion, and coating damage on submerged pipe at water crossings; identified necessary maintenance on pipeline markers and made a visual inspection of surface valves and encroachments to the right-of-way. All features collected on the route were delivered in a client-specific GIS database.

Large scale, fast-paced projects like this that cross multiple state lines and present significant deployment challenges are exactly the types of projects where SAM excels at meeting our client’s needs. We have the depth of resources to meet even the most demanding project requirements.
