Kirk Larson has over 27 years of experience in the GIS and Surveying industries. Kirk has successfully managed and overseen the development of more than 275 utility and infrastructure GIS programs.  As Director of GIS Operations, Kirk oversees the business development and operations, primarily focusing on utility and infrastructure GPS and GIS services.

Kirk holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geography from Northwest Missouri State University. He began his career as a rodman for a local surveying firm during the summers while playing football and earning his college degree.  Kirk began his consulting career in the private sector in 2005, after having worked as a GPS field technician and GIS Coordinator for both local and county government agencies.  Kirk developed an Esri® — a nationally recognized Enterprise Wide GIS program for the growing county of Sarpy County, Nebraska, where he served as GIS Coordinator.

Kirk’s favorite SAM core value is Excellence in Service. He believes that long-standing success comes only from delivering the highest level of accuracy in products and services and going the extra mile for clients. Kirk resides in Missouri with his wife and two children, where he has been active in municipal leadership for several years, serving as a council member and mayor
