SAM has recently been awarded a contract with a major fiber infrastructure provider operating in the Southeast United States to design, draft, and permit an outside plant fiber optic network expansion in Texas. This project is part of the fiber provider’s ongoing efforts to improve connectivity and reliability of service for Texans by relocating some aerial portions to underground.
SAM will provide outside plant fiber design, including an expansion of the existing fiber network to increase speed and allow more bandwidth. Our teams will conduct extensive site walks to identify construction methods, provide detailed design drawings and produce jurisdictional permit applications.
