Tripp Corbin

Tripp Corbin, MCP, GISP joined SAM as a GIS and Aerial Business Development Manager. With over 28 years of Surveying, Mapping and GIS experience, Tripp is recognized as an industry expert and trainer for a variety of geospatial solutions including Esri, Autodesk and Trimble products. In his role at SAM, he is responsible for monitoring new trends and technologies as well as assisting our clients in implementing them to best improve operations, compliance reporting, and increase transparency.

Tripp holds multiple GIS and IT certifications including Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), GIS Certified Professional (GISP), CompTIA Certified Technical Trainer (CTT+), Esri Certified ArcGIS Pro Associate and others. During his career, he has helped various organizations use, implement, and integrate GIS throughout both the US and Canada. This has included local governments, non-profits, educational institutions, utilities, and private companies.

In addition, Tripp has written three books on Esri’s latest desktop GIS application ArcGIS Pro and is currently working on a fourth. He is also very active in the GIS community as a Past President of URISA, board member of the Georgia Geospatial Association, member of xyHt Geospatial Magazine Editorial Board, as well as being active with many local GIS user groups throughout the United States.
