Senior Project Manager

|

Steve Michaud is one of the senior leaders in Sam’s New England offices. In that role, he mentors younger staff, leads recruitment/retention efforts, and engages in ongoing business development pursuits, while also actively managing projects.

Steve is a Professional Surveyor in New Hampshire, Vermont, and Rhode Island, as well as a Certified Floodplain Surveyor through the National Society of Professional Surveyors, and an FAA Part 107 Certified Remote Pilot. He’s a member of the NH Land Surveyor Association, VT Society of Professional Surveyors, RI Society of Professional Land Surveyors, and the National Society of Professional Surveyors. He is also a member of several Professional Engineering organizations and regularly attends their events in order to network with partners in that related discipline. In August of 2024, Steve was appointed by the Governor to the NH Board of Land Surveyors. Steve has been working in the Survey industry in 1995, and started at Doucet Survey in 1997 before he, and his business partners, sold the business to SAM.

Steve most appreciates SAM’s core value of Integrity. Although it’s not always the easiest option, doing the right thing is how Steve makes sure the interests of his staff, his colleagues, and his clients are best served. In his time away from work, Steve enjoys home improvement projects, landscape photography, and craft beer hunting.
