Nathan Germolus

Nathan Germolus came to SAM after 30+ years of experience as an Engineering Consultant providing designs of high voltage substations, generation systems, and campus distribution systems. Nathan works across the country as a Business Development Director for the Utilities Sector. His responsibilities include developing relationships and solutions for SAM’s Investor Owned Utilities (IOU) clients and Consulting Engineering partners.  Nathan also assists with monitoring and accessing the changes in the Electric Utility business and shaping our SAM service offerings for future needs.

Nathan is a Registered Professional Engineer in 33 states as well as the District of Columbia. Nathan’s experience within the Electric Utility business spans a wide range of clientele, successfully executing projects with Electric Cooperatives, Municipalities, Investor Owned Utilities, Education and Government campuses.

Nathan’s favorite SAM core value is People. Given that he is within a decade of retirement, Nathan is looking forward to working within SAM as a mentor, assisting his fellow employees and passing along the experience he has gained during his career. Nathan lives in rural Northwest Minnesota with his wife. He has two adult children that recently married and is patiently waiting for grandchildren. He is currently serving as an elected Township Supervisor in the township he resides in.
