Brett Smith has nearly 25 years of engineering, construction, construction management, and utility management experience. Located in Dallas, he is an Executive Vice President and the Principal in charge of the Transportation Market. He is responsible for business development and operations for the company and directly leads the regional management teams, SAM-CS, and the utility engineering group. He works with these groups to provide strategic leadership to establish long-range goals, strategies, operational plans, policies, and the allocation of resources to accomplish the company objectives.
Brett is a Registered Professional Engineer in Texas and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Utah. His favorite core value is Integrity and Ethics, and he believes that SAM’s ability to bring these values to our clients develops long-term trusting relationships and exceptional service for clients. He and his family enjoy fostering dogs for an animal rescue organization, helping his local FFA chapter, and spending time outdoors with his three children.
