Josh Dillier has 16 years of experience in the electric utility industry. He is a manager in the Corporate Business Development group. He resides in Florida where he supports the company’s electric utility work throughout the state, as well as in North and South Carolina. In this role he interacts with large Investor Owned Utilities (Duke, FPL and Dominion South Carolina) and AEC firms (Burns & McDonnell, POWER Engineers and Pike). Through these interactions Josh connects the client needs with SAM’s operations teams who execute the work. Josh also supports M&A activities and product development endeavors, in addition to representing SAM at the EEI and WIRES trade associations.

He began his career at Oncor Electric Delivery as an engineer in the Transmission Planning group. After several years with Oncor he transitioned to consulting where he held leadership roles in Transmission Planning, Protection & Control and Substation Engineering. Josh graduated from The University of Texas at Arlington with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering. He is a registered Professional Engineer in Texas, Florida, Alabama, and Mississippi.

Josh’s favorite core value is Community. He enjoys representing SAM in charities and organizations that improve the local communities SAM operates in. He helps organize and participate in United Way golf tournaments as well as clay shoots and charity dinners for the Gulf Stream Council of the Boy Scouts of America–near and dear to his heart as an Eagle Scout. Josh lives in Winter Garden, FL with his wife, four kids and two dogs. In his free time, Josh enjoys golf and mountain biking.
