As the National Director of Energy, John Wilson leads SAM’s Oil & Gas initiatives by developing growth strategies, maintaining key industry partnerships, and supporting project execution. He is responsible for coordinating Oil and Gas business development strategies and operations teams across all SAM services lines nationwide. John works closely with Executive Leadership and Regional Managers to align corporate objectives and drive consistency in service.
John is a Professional Land Surveyor in Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, Tennessee, Wisconsin, and Iowa. During his 25 years in the surveying and mapping profession, he has provided survey support on hundreds of oil and gas, electric transmission, and renewable energy projects throughout the country. John holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Survey Management from Vincennes University and is an active Indiana Society of Professional Land Surveyors Board Member.
