Donald Zdancewicz

Don Zdancewicz has over 35 years of experience providing land surveying services to a wide variety of clients and markets in the AEC industry. Don is the Survey Department Manager for the Austin office. His responsibilities include establishing operational plans and staffing levels to advance the Austin Survey department, develop positive client relationships, and work with all market leads and senior leadership to provide the highest quality of service. Don also provides leadership for SAM by leading efforts to establish relationships with city, county, and state government agencies throughout Texas; with independent school districts and institutions of higher education, and with the water-wastewater market.

Don is a Registered Professional Land Surveyor in Texas, as well as a Licensed Land Surveyor in both Virginia and Washington, D.C. He is a member of several industry associations, including the Texas Society of Professional Land Surveyors (TSPS), the District of Columbia Association of Land Surveyors (DCALS), the Virginia Association of Surveyors (VAS), the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC), and American Society of Highway Engineers (ASHE). Don’s professional experience spans a wide range of clients, successfully executing projects for transportation, educational institutions, utility companies, renewables, electric transmission, and municipal, county, state, and federal agencies.
