Dan Pollock is the firm’s  Director of Corporate Development/Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A). At SAM, Dan’s focus is on collaborating with executive members of management to develop and execute the firm’s corporate development strategy by identifying both organic and M&A growth opportunities. He also plays a key role in supporting management with financial and operational analysis, and developing the strategic vision of the company.

Dan joined SAM while completing his MBA at the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas in Austin, where he concentrated in finance and strategy, graduating with honors. Prior to McCombs, he spent nearly six years at Deloitte & Touche. As a manager with Deloitte’s M&A Transaction Advisory practice he advised on numerous M&A transactions by providing pre-acquisition financial and accounting due diligence and analytical services to both strategic and financial buyers. Prior to his M&A role, Dan worked in Deloitte’s Audit and Enterprise Risk Services practice.

Dan received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from St. John Fisher College, where he played on the football team. He is a CFA® charterholder and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the state of Texas.
