CP

Chris Guy has over 15 years of experience providing a variety of aerial mapping and survey services for the AEC industry and Federal Government. Chris is an Associate as well as an Operations Manager for the Austin office. His responsibilities include developing the yearly strategy and operational plan for the Austin office, as well as ensuring the office’s goals are aligned with the broader corporate strategy. Chris provides strategic leadership for the company by working with the executive management team to establish long-term goals, strategies, and financial plans to accomplish SAM’s most critical strategic objectives.

Chris is a Certified Photogrammetrist (CP) through the American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing as well as a Certified GIS Professional (GISP). Chris’ professional experience spans a wide range of infrastructure clients, successfully executing projects for oil and gas, electric transmission, transportation, renewables, and utility companies as well as numerous large scale federal projects for the USGS, NOAA, and FEMA.

Chris’ favorite SAM core value is People. He believes that people are an essential component to SAM’s success and believes in mentoring, encouraging, and growing people to help leverage their skills and create a company culture wherein SAM is a partner in delivering the client’s personal and institutional agenda. He is actively involved in his local Livestock Association and supporting kids in 4H and FFA. He currently resides in Texas with his wife and three children.
