Bryan Fitzpatrick joined SAM after 10 years in the United States Army. He has 20 years of experience in aviation and remote sensing, both as an attack helicopter pilot and more recently as a drone pilot. Now serving as a business development manager, he spearheads SAM’s drone and conductor measurement programs. He draws heavily on his time leading men and women in combat to find outside-the-box ways to improve processes at SAM.

Bryan is a commercial helicopter pilot with over 2,200 flight hours in both the United States and overseas. Bryan is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point and the University of Southern California, with a B.S. and M.S. in Geospatial Information Science. His work with GIS for managing projects has helped various departments within SAM gain significant efficiency. He is the lead inventor for SAM’s patented Terrestrial Close Range Photogrammetry process.

Bryan’s favorite SAM core value is Integrity. It’s most closely aligned with the motto of his alma mater, and an important building block for a strong company. Bryan resides in North Texas with his wife and three children, hunting and fishing whenever life allows. In the fall, he helps coach youth football in his local community.
