We are pleased to announce that Vivek Arora has joined SAM Companies as our Chief Administrative Officer. Based out of our Houston, TX office, Mr. Arora will oversee the Human Resources and Administration Departments while collaborating with Operations and Executive Management teams to help SAM achieve our strategic goals.
Mr. Arora received his B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania, his Juris Doctorate from Columbia University School of Law, and his M.B.A. from Rice University. While a lawyer by background, Mr. Arora prefers the people side of the business, where he feels he can have the most significant impact.
Mr. Arora joins SAM with over 15 years of experience in the administrative fields spending 12 of those years at Quanta Services, Inc., where he served in a variety of roles, including Head of HR and senior positions in the legal department before serving as Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer at Mears Group, Inc. for the last seven years. Prior to joining Quanta in 2010, he was in private practice at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld’s Washington DC office.
Recently, the National Diversity Council selected Vivek as a Top 50 Multicultural Leader in 2021 and Top 50 General Counsel in 2020.

Mr. Arora also serves as an Executive Professor at the Texas A&M University Mays Business School and has held board and leadership roles in several organizations. He currently serves as the Chair of the Board for the Center for Energy Workforce Development, a Senior Fellow for the Sierra Institute, and a Member of the Houston CHRO Governing Body.
