July 15, 2021

SAM has won a three-year statewide, On-Call contract with the South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) for aerial mapping and land surveying services. Our teams will provide aerial photogrammetric and remote sensing mapping as well as land surveying to include aerial LiDAR, terrestrial mobile mapping, and field surveying.

We will deploy our mobile mapper and Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) to provide digital terrain modeling, low-altitude modeling and mapping, and other related surveying services. SAM was selected on an as-needed basis with a total maximum amount of $10 Million.

“We are pleased with the opportunity to continue to work with SCDOT,” said Luiz Cortes, SAM Operations Manager in our Aerial Mapping service sector. “Our aerial and mobile LiDAR and photogrammetric mapping services add an additional level of accuracy and reliability for the state to utilize in future projects.”
