SAM Companies has been chosen to provide network design and permitting for more than 50 miles of fiber in North Carolina. This network expansion will serve nine Community Anchored Institutions (CAI) and deliver broadband connectivity to multiple communities in the state.
SAM will provide outside and inside plant fiber design and produce permit applications for six railroad crossings, North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) interstate crossings, and two river crossings. SAM will also conduct extensive site walks to design the exact running line, identify means of construction, and provide detailed design drawings to the construction contractor.
