Inc. magazine has ranked Surveying And Mapping (SAM) as no. 1153 on its 2013 list of the nation’s fastest growing private companies. The Inc. 500|5000 list represents a comprehensive look at America’s most successful independent entrepreneurs. According to the citation letter the “Inc. 5000 was harder to get into this year than ever in its history,” with honorees having a very high growth average that “most companies could only dream of in the economy of the past three years.”
Within the industry and regional subcategories SAM was also listed 10th among engineering firms nationwide and 24th among companies in the Austin Metro area. SAM was also among the top firms categorized by diversity of ownership and within the state of Texas.
