SAM is proud to announce Gabrielle “Gabbi” Wagner as a recipient of the 2026 Sam G. Hanna Honorary Scholarship. Gabbi is the daughter of Christin Rowley, an Administrative Supervisor based in SAM’s Columbus, Ohio office.

Established in honor of SAM’s founder, the Sam G. Hanna Honorary Scholarship reflects our continued commitment to supporting the educational goals of our employees’ families. Each year, the scholarship recognizes students who demonstrate academic achievement, community involvement, and a clear vision for their future.
Gabbi recently graduated from high school and also completed community college coursework. This fall, she will begin the pre-aerospace engineering program at The Ohio State University, where she plans to pursue a bachelor’s degree and continue toward a master’s degree. Her academic interests include spacecraft design and orbital mechanics, reflecting both her curiosity and her long-standing interest in space exploration.
Throughout high school, Gabbi balanced a strong academic schedule with extracurricular activities, volunteer service, and work experience. She played violin for five years, participated in school and community service activities, and has worked as a barista at local coffee cafés for the past four years. Her application materials highlighted her commitment to learning, willingness to help others, and ability to manage responsibilities with focus and maturity.
Outside of school and work, Gabbi enjoys drawing, crafting, exercising, visiting new coffee shops, and spending time with friends.
The Sam G. Hanna Honorary Scholarship is open annually to high school seniors and college students who are dependents of SAM employees. Recipients are selected through a competitive application process based on academic achievement, extracurricular involvement, community service, and financial need. Each year, up to $10,000 is awarded to one or more outstanding applicants.
SAM congratulates Gabbi on this well-deserved recognition and celebrates Christin and her family as Gabbi prepares to begin her college journey. We are honored to support the educational goals of our extended SAM family and look forward to seeing Gabbi’s continued success.
