SAM Awarded Two Year Contract with the Texas Facilities Commission

December 20, 2023

SAM is proud to announce that our Professional Services Agreement with the Texas Facilities Commission (TFC) has been extended by two additional years. SAM will continue providing the TFC with Geomatics and Utility Engineering solutions at various program locations concurrently across the entire state.

The TFC builds, maintains, and manages over 28 million square feet of state-owned and leased facilities, which house roughly 62,000 state employees in more than 100 agencies. With a large property portfolio, TFC requires a partner with well-rounded experience who has the capability to mobilize crews statewide quickly and acquire a diverse set of spatial data for facilities.

Our team was initially selected due to the expansive range of services and the extent of our resources, such as our terrestrial and mobile LiDAR, our crewed and uncrewed aerial capabilities, sixty Texas-licensed land surveyors, and thirty licensed engineers. However, extending this agreement an additional two years signifies the high quality of SAM’s work and the penchant for long-term, genuine partnerships.

“SAM is excited to continue our partnership with the Texas Facilities Commission,” said SAM Geomatics Department Manager, Donald Zdancewicz, RPLS. “Over the past several years, we have built a track record of success providing trusted solutions around Texas, and our continued work with TFC is a testament to our performance.”

With three decades of success on a broad spectrum of programs across Texas and a comprehensive suite of Managed Geospatial Services, SAM is prepared to help government agencies and commercial businesses manage their assets.
