SAM Awarded Three Year Contract with the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department

December 12, 2023

SAM has been awarded a three-year contract with the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD). Our teams will provide Surveying and Mapping solutions, including boundary, topographic, and easement surveying across the entire state, encompassing all six of the TPWD regions. These services will benefit TPWD and all Texans looking for recreation opportunities on state land.

“This contract with the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department is exciting for SAM,” said Geomatics Department Manager, Donald Zdancewicz. “We’re assisting with every TPWD region in the state, doing a wide variety of different surveying services in a way that few other firms can. SAM is thankful to be chosen and to continue providing surveying services to TPWD.”

SAM was chosen for this job due to its comprehensive expertise across the Geomatics disciplines and long track record of success working with Texas state departments. Specifically, our team members’ experience in infrastructure work on both the state and local levels. As one of the most geographically diverse states in the country, operating across all six of Texas’ regions requires a firm to have broad capabilities and a team with a diverse set of experience. SAM is fully equipped to provide those services statewide, including Subsurface Utility Engineering, Mobile and Aerial LiDAR, and usage of both crewed and uncrewed aircraft to aid in spatial data collection.
