April 2, 2020

SAM was awarded a $5M contract to provide Land Surveying and Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) services for an Electric Utility Client in West Texas.

SAM has been tasked to perform boundary survey and SUE services for 170 miles of new transmission lines and will also conduct construction staking essential to the project scope. Project line segments are divided approximately by 60 miles, 30 miles, 60 miles, and 20 miles, with a 60 day turnaround time for engineering design survey, boundary surveying, exhibit production, and SUE deliverables from notice to proceed.

“SAM has the ability to mobilize a large number of field staff and resources, and dedicate office staff to produce precise and accurate weekly deliverables to the consulting engineers,” said SAM’s Senior Project Manager, Casey Adams. “This is a very exciting time for us here at SAM, and we are very pleased to be working with our client and their project team.”

More information about SAM’s services and capabilities for surveying and SUE can be found on our Surveying and SUE webpages.
