March 24, 2020

SAM has been awarded a $2.5M contract to provide surveying and mapping services for the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) Austin District. The contract extends over five years and SAM will perform a variety of services including design and control surveys, right-ofway mapping, and topographic mapping. The work will utilize conventional surveying, LiDAR scanning, and geospatial capabilities to support TxDOT infrastructure improvement projects. Early phase projects under the contract have included ground surveys of three off-system bridges in Williamson County.

“We have a longstanding track record of successful project execution with TxDOT,” said Scott Brashear, SAM’s Project Manager responsible for the work, “and we are very pleased to be selected again to deliver high-quality surveying solutions supporting essential Texas highway infrastructure projects.”
