SAM Awarded $1 Million Contract With Dallas Community College For SUE Services

December 22, 2020

SAM has been awarded a $1 million contract to provide Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) services for several Dallas Community College campuses. SAM will be providing Quality Level B SUE services at the Brookhaven, Cedar Valley, Northlake, and Eastfield campuses in Dallas County.

SAM was chosen for our ability to quickly deploy field crews, provide accurate and reliable deliverables, as well as our previous experience working with Dallas Community College. SAM will utilize the industry’s most advanced surface geophysical equipment to search for and designate the horizontal position of known and unknown utilities at each campus and incorporate found utilities into the requested type of design files. SAM’s extensive experience working with higher education institutions gives us a unique understanding of the processes and standards these projects require. In addition, SAM’s advanced applied technology allows us to deliver practical insights and high-quality georeferenced SUE data more reliably and accurately than traditional One-Call designations. Our processes analyze complex data and create deliverables that are replicable and precise for Dallas Community College’s future needs.

“We are excited and prepared to, again, provide SUE services to Dallas College,” said Souvik Raha, SAM Project Manager for the contract. “The data and insight we deliver will support the college’s immediate needs, and will also be beneficial for planning future development on the campuses.”
