SAM Companies is pleased to announce Brian Wood, PLS, RPLS has joined our team as a Regional Operations Manager in our East Region.
Mr. Wood is based out of our Gainesville, Virginia (NoVA) office and will support the project operations and quality control throughout the eastern and northeastern United States.
Mr. Wood has more than 44 years of geospatial experience with a background in both the private and public sector including the Transportation, Federal, and Municipal markets. In his role at SAM, Mr. Wood will oversee business operations for the northeast including Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey.
His strong foundation in project management and training for both geospatial and construction services makes him an excellent fit for SAM’s continued rapid growth in the northeast.

Brian Wood holds Professional Land Surveying licenses in Virginia, Maryland, West Virginia, Texas, Indiana, Kentucky, and Tennessee. Additionally, he has a B.S. in Land Surveying from Purdue University.
