Surveying And Mapping, LLC has again been recognized by Engineering News Record (ENR) as one the Top Engineering Design firms in the Texas/Louisiana region. For 2014 SAM ranked number one in the region in the surveying and mapping service category, based on revenue of $69.56 million for the region. Overall, across all categories, the firm ranked 18 out of 129 firms. In other categories the company also ranked number 8 in the petroleum market sector, number 5 in the power market sector, number 10 in transportation, and number 13 for revenue within Texas alone.
Each year ENR ranks qualified firms by their annual revenue to establish the top design firms overall, as well as by region and market sector. The current rankings appear in the June 9, 2014 edition of ENR Texas/Louisiana magazine. Although SAM, Inc. operates across North America, these rankings demonstrate the continued strong presence the firm has in its home market.
Earlier this year SAM was also ranked 97 overall in the national rankings for the 2014 ENR Top 500 Design Firms. The firm also ranked number one in the surveying and mapping service category for the ENR Midwest region.
