SAM Companies is pleased to announce Mitch Long as our Corporate Federal Market Lead.
Mr. Long is based out of our Austin office and will support SAM’s growth and development in the Federal Market and contribute to our overall business strategy.
Mr. Long has over 25 years of Geospatial experience in Surveying, Geospatial Information Systems (GIS), and Remote Sensing. He has an extensive background in the Federal Market and experience managing numerous state and federal contracts and supporting different federal agencies across the entire nation. In addition, Mr. Long has held leadership roles in MAPPS and ASPRS.
His deep understanding of the Federal Market, proven relationships, outstanding project work, and leadership in the Geospatial industry will be invaluable as SAM continues to grow in the Federal market.

Mitch Long is a Professional Land Surveyor in Kentucky, an ASPRS Certified Photogrammetrist, and a Certified GIS Professional. He holds an Associate Degree in Applied Sciences from Cloud County Community College.
