We are pleased to announce that Carlos Montoya, Ph.D. has joined SAM, LLC as a Senior Project Manager for our Aerial Mapping and GIS service sector and will be based in our Austin, Texas headquarters.
Mr. Montoya brings to SAM over 13 years of LiDAR and photogrammetric mapping experience for civil, environmental, and geodetic engineering. He has managed aerial surveying projects across the United States and in Latin America. Mr. Montoya will lead SAM’s Aerial Mapping business development activities, focusing on client solutions to support both the transportation and energy markets and supporting SAM’s media and industry engagement efforts related to aerial mapping and GIS.
