Rob Ashley, SAM Office Manager in Moorestown, New Jersey will be presenting to students at Rowan College on October 25. Students enrolled in a Surveying 101 class, will learn about 3D Documentation Benefits and Uses, and the similarities of conventional surveying and 3D laser scanning techniques as well as all the final deliverables that can be prepared from the terrestrial LiDAR data.
This is the third time Mr. Ashley has presented to students at Rowan College, and SAM is pleased to have such a long-standing relationship with the institution. “I enjoy engaging with the students because they are eager to learn and the technology has a WOW factor that you can see in their faces,” said Mr. Ashely.
In addition to sharing work experience with students, SAM provides current employees with the tools and training they need to help them become leaders in the industry. Presently, Richard Cobb, Instrument Operator at SAM’s Moorestown office, is enrolled in the class at Rowan this semester as part of his continuing surveying education.
