SAM is proud to announce Kirsten Hana as the recipient of the 2025 Sam G. Hanna Honorary Scholarship. Kirsten is the daughter of Nancy Hana, a Senior Office Technician supporting our Aerial-GIS team in Austin.
Each year, this scholarship honors the legacy of SAM’s founder by investing in the future of our employees’ families. The program provides financial support to deserving students who demonstrate academic excellence, active community involvement, and a clear vision for their future.
Kirsten will begin her college journey this fall at the University of North Texas, where she plans to pursue a degree in Geography. Her commitment to her studies and involvement in her community exemplify the values this scholarship was created to support.
The Sam G. Hanna Honorary Scholarship is open annually to high school seniors and college students who are dependents of SAM employees. Recipients are selected through a competitive application process based on academic achievement, extracurricular involvement, and financial need. Each year, up to $10,000 is awarded to one or more outstanding applicants.
We congratulate Kirsten on this well-deserved recognition and thank all the students who applied. SAM is honored to support the educational goals of our extended team and looks forward to seeing the continued success of our future scholars.
