Jason Caskey has 25years of experience in utility-level power delivery and power generation, renewables, industrial power, and industrial controls. Jason has worked as a project engineer alongside a wide variety of multidisciplinary services including electric, structural, and mechanical. Past project activities encompass engineering design, construction support, and testing/commissioning of electrical power systems; his experience across a wide spectrum of power delivery projects supports effective communication between the SAM team, engineering consultants, EPC’s, and IOU’s.
As the Corporate Utility Lead Jason is responsible for overall growth of SAM’s Utility Market combining strategic planning and operational collaboration.
Jason has a Bachelor of the Arts and a Master of Business Administration both from Auburn University and is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).
Jason’s favorite core value is Safety. He understands it’s important in keeping our people, our clients, and their clients safe. Jason makes sure to include a safety moment in both internal and external meetings for continuous messaging to his team. Jason is actively involved in several mentoring programs for teens and young adults (a passion that also bleeds into his professional life) and enjoys volunteering in various in civic organizations in his community. He resides in Nashville, Tennessee with his wife and three children.
