Brett Smith has over 25 years of experience in engineering, construction, construction management, and utility management. Located in Austin, he is the Senior Vice President of CEI and Operations. He is responsible for the CEI service line, PMO, and field operations for the company. He works with these groups to establish operational plans, long-range goals, policies, and resource allocation to accomplish the company’s objectives.
Brett is a Registered Professional Engineer in Texas and holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Utah. His favorite SAM core value is Integrity and Ethics, and he believes that SAM’s ability to bring these values to our clients develops long-term trusting relationships and exceptional service for clients. He and his family enjoy fostering dogs for an animal rescue organization, helping his local FFA chapter, and spending time outdoors with his three children.
