Michael Racis joined SAM in 2019. He has over 25 years of marketing and communications experience with extensive knowledge of brand development, communications strategy, research and market insights, integrated marketing communications, web development, digital marketing, public and media relations, and analytics.

As Vice President, Marketing and Communication, Michael supports SAM sales growth, geographic expansion, and markets and services diversification by providing strategic leadership across SAM’s brand strategy, market intelligence, external and internal marketing communications, CRM systems, proposals, and marketing analytics.

Prior to joining SAM, Michael worked at some of the world’s leading marketing agencies creating brand strategies and communication campaigns for clients like Chase Bank, JP Morgan, Kohler, and Intel. He also served on the Executive Team as VP, Communications and Business Services at Pedernales Electric Cooperative, the nation’s largest electric distribution cooperative.

Michael earned a BA in Business Management from University of Lynchburg in Virginia. His favorite core value is Integrity and Ethics and he works to use this value as a lens to view daily interactions. He serves on the Board of Guadalupe River Trout Unlimited, is active in youth sports, and resides in Texas with his wife and two children.
