
SAM-CS Awarded Contract for CEI Services by FDOT District 1

SAM-Construction Services (SAM-CS) has been awarded a $1.5 million, 13-month time and materials contract by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District 1, Manatee County Operations Center. SAM-CS will provide Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) services, contract administration, material verification testing, permit compliance, and final estimate services for two milling, resurfacing, and safety improvement projects. The first improvement project is on U.S. 301 from 60th Avenue to Erie Road in Manatee County, and the other is on S.R. 72 from Big Slough Canal to the DeSoto County Line in Sarasota County.
