January 6, 2022
SAM-Construction Services (SAM-CS) has been awarded a $3.3 million, 2.5-year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract by the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT). SAM-CS will perform Construction Engineering Inspection (CEI) services for the construction of a new $54.5M interchange on SH 302 at SH 115 located in Winkler County, Texas.
Our teams will provide CEI services, including construction inspection, materials sampling and testing, environmental oversight compliance, schedule review, record-keeping and contract compliance, as well as public information services. SAM-CS will partner with parent company, SAM, on this project to provide surveying and field verification of installed work items and Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) services.
“It is a privilege to be selected again by TxDOT to provide CEI services to the Midland/Odessa region,” said SAM-CS Sr. Vice President/Associate & Central Region Director of Construction Services, Gregory Cleveland, PE, CCM. “We look forward to using our experience working with the Area Office and the local contracting community to deliver a quality product on this grade separation project.”
SAM-CS was chosen for this work authorization due, in part, to our vast experience and past performance in delivering quality CEI services for the Odessa District. We are proud to continue our work in the area. Learn more about our complete suite of construction services on our webpage.
