To enhance the development of all our employees, SAM provides a wide-range of in-house training in the areas of field and office operations, project management, corporate services, and business leadership. We actively help our professionals secure the continuing education units they need to maintain industry certifications and encourage team members to participate in company-wide study groups to prepare for certification and licensure exams. These study programs are conducted in affiliation with state board associations and are open to all interested employees.
Each week we offer training on a diverse range of topics to keep our professionals abreast of industry trends, technology, and best practices. Through online training, we ensure our entire national team is at the same level of excellence.
In addition, SAM provides tuition reimbursement for employees interested in pursuing post-secondary degrees.

Educational resources include The SAM Business Development Playbook, which is our operational framework for onboarding, training, aligning, augmenting, and improving business development capabilities within the company. Closely aligned to the Playbook, is our Effective Project Management series. This series includes formal project management processes for the AEC industry and relevant best practices for managing projects at SAM. These, as well as others, ensure our leaders around the nation are getting the knowledge and support they need.
