SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

top workplace bannersThe purpose of the SAM Internship Program is to recruit, train, and hire the next generation of company leaders, and to build a team of talented individuals throughout the company. SAM offers an 8-week Summer Internship Program for qualified students enrolled in Land Surveying, Engineering, or geospatial related 4-year degree programs. Students are chosen from universities across the U.S. and our goal is to provide hands-on experience while working with state-of-the-art technology in the industry. Students will have the opportunity to work on real-life projects from field to finish while being mentored by top experts in the industry. SAM offers a competitive wage and paid temporary housing for this elite and exclusive experience. SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

SAM Scholarships are designed to encourage, recognize, and support exceptional surveying and engineering students. The SAM Scholarship is eligible to motivated students pursuing either a two-year or four-year degree in surveying, engineering, or geospatial related degree programs. Students must maintain a 2.5 GPA and complete an 8-week summer internship with SAM the summer prior to applying for the scholarship award. COMMUNITY EDUCATION PROGRAM SUPPORT

SAM is committed to the future of our industry and believes in giving back by helping educate tomorrow's leaders. We are a strong advocate of higher education and support educational programs across Texas through financial and equipment contributions. We support local educational establishments with donations of land surveying equipment, computer workstations, and software to promote public awareness and encourage students to consider studies leading to professional careers in surveying, engineering, geospatial and construction phase services. Some of the colleges and universities SAM supports are:

CAMPUS VISITS

Our recruiting team attends several job fairs around the country each year and many of these are held by colleges and universities. At these events we're always thrilled to meet potential candidates interested in working for us. So keep an eye out for us at upcoming events at your school.
